Meliora is now staffing open positions on the 2024-2025 editorial board! Meliora is Barnard College’s undergraduate-run literary journal committed to publishing peer-reviewed English senior theses on a biannual basis.  Whether you're a prospective English major or simply interested in publishing, this is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with fellow students, hone your editorial skills, and gain valuable production experience.

We wanted to reach out and promote this course on behalf of the Art History and Visual Arts department:

AHIS BC2015 Synthesis: Mixed Media Studio

Course Description:

Synthesis: the composition, combination or transformation of parts or elements to form a whole. This course consists of the following key areas: material, form, concept, intersection and synthesis. As artists, how do we determine when mixed media is required to translate an idea to artwork? How does the work change when multiple media are used?
